Extreme Sports: The Tricks That You Should Learn In Skateboarding

Do you feel left out whenever you are in the skateboard park where your friends can do some of the best tricks and stunts in skateboarding and all you can do is watch in awe that makes you green with envy?

If you want to do all tricks that extreme sport skateboarding pros can do, then you need to remember that practice makes perfect.

You need to keep in mind that you can't expect to perfect a skateboard trick without falling or wiping out.

In fact, even pros didn't learn how to do a trick overnight.

You need to remember that professional skateboarders train for many years before they can catch all that air.

So, if you want to step in the skate park with confidence and also make your friends a bit jealous of your skills, here are some skateboarding tricks that you should learn how to do.

The first skateboard trick is the Ollie.

When you are already comfortable riding your skateboard and you can manage to do so without falling a lot, then the next step would be practicing the Ollie. The Ollie is one of the most basic skateboard tricks in the book.

It is also a very important skateboard trick as this trick is the basis of most of the skateboard tricks available today. Practicing the Ollie is very important as this trick will not only open up more tricks for you to do, but will also improve the way you ride your board.

Another skateboard trick that you should try practicing is the Indy Grab.

This trick is based on the Ollie. Once you already know how to Ollie, the next step is to practice this trick. In the Indy Grab, you will see that the skater will first do the Ollie and while on the air, the skateboarder will grab their board. As you can imagine, this will definitely look really cool and can definitely make your friends green with envy.

Another trick is the Board Flip.

In this trick, you will perform an Ollie then you will manipulate the board in mid air to let it turn one or more times under your feet. Then, when you land, the board will be on the proper skating position and you will skate off.

These are some of the tricks that you should try practicing on your skateboard.

By learning these tricks, you will be able to have an easier time learning other more advanced tricks, such as the grind, Front side Flips, and others.

Always remember that no matter how good you get in this extreme sport, you should never forget to wear all the necessary safety gear. This is still a very dangerous sport that is often associated with serious injuries. So, unless you want to end up in the hospital and not being able to skateboard for a long time, never ever skateboard and perform tricks without the necessary protective gear.
